2005–2013
At NASA, I oversaw the design, editorial direction, and production of ASK Magazine, reaching more than 50,000 readers worldwide. I led an award-winning redesign that increased readership engagement by 40% and earned personal recognition from the NASA Administrator. Along the way, I expanded the magazine's digital reach while reducing annual printing costs by $14,000.
Corporate Executive Board
2002–2005
At Corporate Executive Board, I led editorial and design teams responsible for producing dozens of books and reports under demanding deadlines. I streamlined production workflows, developed style guides used by more than 1,000 researchers and creative staff, and mentored designers and editors. My focus on collaboration, consistency, and efficiency helped improve production quality, reduce errors, and build stronger creative teams.

Education
Southwest Texas State University
1996–2000
I earned my BA in English from SWT, where I was a member of Sigma Tau Delta, the English honor society, and participated in student leadership and theatre arts. I also worked as a writing coach and English-language tutor at the University Writing Center, helping students strengthen their communication skills, and successfully advocated for the reinstatement of Latin courses through the Liberal Arts Student Advisory Council.
INTERESTS
Outside of work, I'm endlessly curious about art, history, and the stories that connect us across cultures and centuries. I love exploring new places through international travel, wandering through modern art museums, and capturing the world through photography. I'm equally fascinated by medieval literature and mythology, where centuries-old stories still offer plenty of inspiration, imagination, and insight into human nature.
